    Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)


  • WCF is a next-generation presentation system for building Windows client applications with visually stunning user experiences. With WPF, you can create a wide range of both standalone and browser-hosted applications.

  • Windows Communication Foundation (WCF)


  • WCF is an application programming interface in the .NET Framework used for building connected, service oriented applications. We use WCF to communicate and fetch results from Web Service. The core of WPF is a resolution-independent and vector-based rendering engine that is built to take advantage of modern graphics hardware. WPF extends the core with a comprehensive set of application-development features that include Extensible Application Markup Language (XAML), controls, data binding, layout, 2-D and 3-D graphics, animation, styles, templates, documents, media, text, and typography.

  • Silverlight


  • Microsoft Silverlight is a free web-browser plug-in that enables interactive media experiences, rich business applications and immersive mobile apps. Windows? Check. Mac? Check. Linux? Check. Silverlight works on all major OS's plus all major browsers, including Firefox, Google Chrome, Safari, and yes, Internet Explorer.

  • It is compatible with multiple web browsers used on Microsoft Windows and Mac OS X operating systems, and with mobile devices using the Windows Phone and Symbian (Series 60) platforms.

  • A free software implementation named Moonlight, developed by Novell in cooperation with Microsoft, is available to bring Silverlight versions 1 and 2 functionality to Linux, FreeBSD and other open source platforms, although some Linux distributions do not include it, citing redistribution and patent concerns.


  • Windows Azure


  • Windows Azure is an open and flexible cloud platform that enables you to quickly build, host and scale web applications through Microsoft data centers. You can build applications using any language, tool or framework. And you can integrate your public cloud applications with your existing IT environment. Windows Azure is classed as a platform as a service and forms part of Microsoft’s cloud computing strategy.

  • SQL Azure


  • SQL Azure is a cloud-based service from Microsoft offering data storage capabilities as part of the Azure Services Platform. SQL Azure allows relational queries to be made against stored data, which can be structured or unstructured documents. Features include querying data, search, data analysis and data synchronization.

  • iPhone


  • The iPhone is a multimedia-enabled internet smartphone from Apple Inc. Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone in January 2007, paving the way for the new generation of smartphones. The fifth generation iPhone, the iPhone 4S was released recently on the 14th October 2011. An iPhone can function as a video camera, a portable media player and an internet client with email and web browsing, with both Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity.

  • iPad


  • The iPad is a tablet computer designed by Apple Inc. Its primary use is as a platform for media such as books, periodicals, movies, music, games and web content. In terms of size and weight it is bigger than a smartphone but smaller than a laptop. The iPad was so popular upon its release that Apple sold 3 million devices within three months of the release date.

  • Windows Phone 7


  • The Windows Phone is a mobile operating system developed by Microsoft, aimed primarily at the consumer market. Its features include Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn integration, contacts organized in groups, with all messaging communication organized in a single thread. With the built-in voice-to-text/ text to voice functionality, users have the ability to do hands-free texting.

  • iOS


  • iOS is the world’s most advanced mobile platform, constantly redefining what’s possible on a mobile device. Derived from the proven core of OS X, iOS has been streamlined to be compact and efficient, taking maximum advantage of the iPad, iPhone and iPod touch hardware. Technologies shared between iOS and OS X include the OS X kernel, BSD sockets for networking, and Objective-C, and C/C++ compilers for native performance.
